Join us for a delightful lunchtime concert featuring the Amadeus Piano Duo. This programme offers a unique blend of musical styles, beginning with a very special premiere: Sharon Barnea's new transcriptions of four Bach chorales, inspired by Busoni’s arrangements and expanded into challenging transcriptions for four hands. From the serene beauty of Bach, the duo transitions to the dramatic intensity of Franz Schubert's "Lebensstürme," an Allegro in A minor that captures the passionate and turbulent spirit of life. The concert concludes with the charming elegance of Claude Debussy's "Petite Suite." This beloved work, with its evocative movements, provides a perfect, light-hearted finale to the concert.
