  • Fantasia No. 3 in D Minor, K 397 (Mozart)

Fantasia No. 3 in D minor was composed by Mozart in 1782. Despite the fact it was finished by another composer, the piece is nonetheless one of his more popular compositions for the piano. The ending as it currently exists (the last 10 measures) is believed to have been written by August Eberhard Müller, one of the composer’s admirers.

  • 1833-1897

‘Capriccio’, Op. 76 No. 1 (Brahms)

The first of the 8 Klavierstücke.

  • Etude Op. 8 No. 2 (Scriabin)

The second of twelve Études, Étude in F sharp minor, a sophisticated cousin of Chopin’s Prelude No.18, Op.28, has confrontation as its theme while the pianist faces the thorny problem of resolutely playing five-note sequences with the right hand against three note sequences with the left.

  • Preludes Op. 11 No. 1-16 (Scriabin)

    No. 1 in C major – Vivace, No. 2 in A minor – Allegretto, No. 3 in G major – Vivo, No. 4 in E minor – Lento, No. 5 in D major – Andante cantabile, No. 6 in B minor – Allegro, No. 7 in A major – Allegro assai, No. 8 in F♯ minor – Allegro agitato, No. 9 in E major – Andantino, No. 10 in C♯ minor – Andante, No. 11 in B major – Allegro assai, No. 12 in G♯ minor – Andante, No. 13 in G♭ major – Lento, No. 14 in E♭ minor – Presto, No. 15 in D♭ major – Lento, No. 16 in B♭ minor – Misterioso

Alexander Scriabin’s 24 Preludes, Op. 11 is a set of preludes composed in the course of eight years between 1888–96

  • Piano Sonata, Op. 30 No. 4 (Scriabin)

    i Andante, ii Prestissimo volando

The Piano Sonata No. 4 in F♯ major was written by Alexander Scriabin around 1903. It is one of Scriabin’s shortest piano sonatas.
