Benjamin Louis Paul Godard (1849 – 1895) was a French violinist and Romantic-era composer of Jewish extraction, best known for his opera Jocelyn.

Suite de trois morceaux is written for flute and piano. An expressive piece full of spirit with contrasts and intricate writings within the Flute part, which creates a variety of moods within the piece.
